Ow! Those didn't sound like very gracious or polite or sensitively sympathetic "men" in the terminal concourse there. Taking pleasure and making jokes at another's misfortune. I was going to throw in a completely idiotic reversal here, but I can't bring myself to do it.

A lot of people Think before they set out to type. Not me. No sir.

Uhm, MJ tries not to get black kitties, tries not to attract them to come live here, because apparently they do get swiped. Dozer was all black, and she would begin mid-October to worry about that. He's expired now, so she doesn't worry about that. But I won't tell her Blue has disappeared, or she will worry about that. Worry, worry, worry. We put out signs you know ~ if you have any pictures of Blue, you blow them up at the copy store or on the puter and just put up a massive billboard in your front yard. Well, you know, 4 feet square. Definitely gets attention. We really don't care what people think, we want our friends back. Because the main thing is for whoever sees the kitty to know where he goes. Hudson used to get trapped all the time in people's basements if there was dog or catfood down there, or their garages, and we'd have to go around the hood asking people to open their basements and sheds. We found him several times that way, until that eagle or pterodactyl got him.

People who take animals to hurt them should meet me, and i will teach them about the devil.

Sorry, sorry, about your kitty. I'm really recommending the big sign out front. You can even put a reward on it. Money is a strange incentive. Even to kidnappers. We've offered 100.00; any more and people kidnap other kitties convinced he's yours and get mad when it's the wrong sex, color and size and you won't buy the kicking and scratching poor thing anyway.

penni,

I am so very sorry to hear that Blue is missing. How old is he now? It should go without saying that I hope Blue returns soon and relieves you of worry. I lived with a couple of escape artists and, although comical in retrospect, I too know well those feelings of uncertainty and dread.

BTW, I love that quote you had in your profile saying how cats exist to teach us that not everything in life has a purpose, and so do all of my friends who have cats to whom I have told it.

Best, Holly

penni,

We have 4 cats at present. A couple run hard and a couple never leave. A few weeks back one of the never leave cats was gone for a week. Wife was walking the timber and fields, nothing. At the end of the week there sits Harley with that I've been getting laid and eating dead stuff look. Only time he has ever taken off.

Bill

I read Blue is missing and skipped the rest of your post. Please let me know when he shows up. I have not gone through the rest of the posts...have about 56 to go. I am worried....but often they pop up.

Oh dear.

Melinda
