(REUTERS) Hi-Rise Recycling <HIRI.O> says earnings on track Hi-Rise Recycling <HIRI.O> says earnings on track NEW YORK, Oct 13 (Reuters) - Hi-Rise Recycling Systems Inc. said on Tuesday that revenues and earnings for the third quarter are on budget with its order backlog rising to a record $10 million, up 138 percent from a $4.2 million backlog a year ago. The backlog is due to significant increases in orders for all divisions of the company which manufactures recycling and waste handling equipment for waste haulers in the municipal, industrial and residential markets. The stock was up 7/32 at 1-7/8. Gary McAlpin, Hi-Rise's chief operating officer, said that once the previously announced acquisition of Bes Pac Inc. was consummated, the backlog would increase by $1.3 million.
