lisa: You only have one StartUp folder and you are not looking in the right place....you have got to use Windows Explorer (file manager) to navigate to the folder....do you know what I am talking about?

I am not talking about using your Start Button...

LG

Lisa, re:Internet Explorer

IE doesn't need to be in any startup folder -- it's hooked into Win98 unless you uninstall it. (This is the fundamental issue cited by ISVs and state AG's.) Frankly, I'd uninstall IE and its associated trashware, BUT if you refuse [no pun] then:
go into Internet icon within Control Panel,
select Program tab, uncheck "Internet Explorer should check...default browser"

With respect to Netscape Navigator: this should launch at Win98 startup, provided you've followed Trey's earlier directions.

Good luck,
Alan
