Umm... Raj, most people would not have a WLL phone in the car.

Knowing the poor digital service covering rural roads in North America, maybe that "NO SERVICE" display on GSM phones will be bright enough to flag down passing motorists.

Ya think it will work better than bamboo?

Rajala,
Are you suggesting that limited mobility service has no market? If so, can you point us to your sources of market data suggesting this to be the case? I thought you were into substance [but maybe its just substances gg].

Rajala, not quite right that WLL is no good in a broken car. True, it won't do handoff and operate as a mobile, but if you have it in your car and you are broken down, it will still work. A curse in some countries where people are using their WLL as a mobile phone, thus getting cheap mobile service. They just have to stop to use it and perhaps be in their home cell.

You can't see the cdmaOne stick? Market researchers call the stick market share, market growth and profits. QUALCOMM has it all. And growing faster than anything else. With projections that the rate will increase. Monkeys look for bamboo sticks, more cunning humans say "show me the money" which is an American expression meaning the same as the ape-like Neanderthal European "show me the cane".

Kiwis prefer "show me the Wave Function". Neanderthals won't understand that.

PS: Okay, that's today's quota from me! Nice to see the stock prices not collapsing. Hope it isn't a sucker rally plateau. Fingers crossed. Roll on 3 November.
