Eric,
Good post on pa. coal. I have been digging into this for months now.
Rich has had full page adds about his plant in every newspaper in the
area. You did a good job listing most of the news which I can verify.
Mr Rich also did a local tv program on the coal to fuels plan.
Showed how it worked what was feed into the process and what came
out.
I have also been talking to the local trade unions which will build the plant when it is approved. The unions are very upbeat it will come once the government tax cuts are in place.
Right now most of the culm[waste coal from years past] is being used
in cogen plants to make electricity and the steam a byproduct is piped to heat greenhouses and prisons.
Pa. is in a electric choice program do to deregulation this will
make electric cheaper and the cogens will lose some profits.
It might be more profitable for them to make clean fuels.
Also look at the new safe air regulations due to come on line soon
it could also spur interest in GTL diesel fuels which emit less
pollutants and pass the new regs.
Rich even mentioned a on board ele generator fueled by clean fuel
as a future way to power trucks.
Many months ago someone saw a memo on Marks desk that had Rich's
name on it,at least it was posted on here. I live 5 miles from the
proposed plant site and believe me there is lots of black gold
around here. There are also a lot of other countries that have coal
reserves to burn too.
Solids , solids, solids it just kept being mentioned in all the news releases.
Long on RNTK and Black Gold

>>Some other items - Each ton of coal produces 3-4 barrels of product. At that rate, the Appalachian basin has greater reserves than any other oil producing COUNTRY in the world. PA alone would be second only to Saudia Arabia. <<

Good work, Eric. Very interesting information!! A big potential plus for RNTK.

I had some trouble finding the EM address you suggested so here is a more direct url. I suggest shareholders visit and send an EM:

Eric ,, there is a distinguished gentleman from PA .. stays in close contact with RNTK ,, he frequently sends new developments to Mark,,

He is a law maker in that state pushing for such a bill.. coal - gasfication ,,

I saw a copy of the fax that he sent to RNTK ..
