Somebody here posted a 'fact' that 100 perple were in jail in the US for perjury, or something similar. I don't find that a particulary compelling number, given over a million people in jail, millions of people testitying each year, a high percentage trying to disguise or bend some truth, and the probability that the trials the perjury took place in were criminal trials.

BS on depositions is standard stuff. Lawyers just do them in many cases so they can bring out the contradictions in court. Millions of times a year. Nobody goes to jail over these civil depositions, normally. Let alone somebody working for all of us.
