That's right, my philosophy is, it's better to be safe then sorry. Even if you have to buy it 10 points higher That why I said if you want to take a gamble on Intel earning that your choice. But Victoria was right to buy it at $53.00 you could have made an almost one point gain. 1000 shares at 3/4 point is $750.00 profit. Why get greedy and what if the earning is not good you will lose money and not be able to buy it back cheaper. some people do not agree with this but with Dell's pe 70 plus it too risky to gamble.
