As to the high 50+ p/e.
MSFT is projected to earn $2.16 but they will probably make more.
At $96 current price divided by $2.20 for the comming year we are at a p/e of around 44. This does not include the money that they put under the mattre$$. I don't have the figures, if someon has the excact numbers please let us know. I believe it's about $1 per share that they have in unreported earnings. So the figure now becomes:
Price = $96
Earnings = $2.20 + $1.00 = 3.20
P/E = 30 which is the long term P/E for MSFT.
This is a very conservative price for this stock.
IMHO.
