Brent, Self inflicted is self inflicted, drugs, booze or refused to work for greed are parallel. Strange you made the leap to accusing union people of those crimes when I did not. It is close to the front of your mind? Eh?. Getting better pay via education, no problem, but by blackmail?, Oh no. What there should be is a rational division. What we have now is unions killing company after company. It has gotten so bad in BC that they simply leave. That and total automation is the only defence. 300 go on strike, they settle and 40 get called back as they automated the rest out of work. The real threat is automated third world countries. Will we reach 5% needed for manufacturing?, we already have 5% feed the USA. Manufacturing could go the same way. I saw a fully automated tuner factory in Japan that could fill world tuner demand when running 24 hours/day/7 days/week. 14 workers, full parallelism in the lines, automated unload/load of machines etc. Bill
