in the case of eyeglasses then i believe that is good ballpark figure. now whether it is 50k,80k,120k, i can't really say, but it will still be a lot of money. that is what they will derive from the royalties, based on the selling cost of the glasses. most of that will flow to the bottom line. if you don't think those glasses will sell, then just stay short the stock. imagine glasses that are instantly variable. i think they will do just fine. as for the goggles, we expect them to be premium priced at about 200 dollars a pair.
at 85k sq ft per 55 gallon drum, with royalties of 50 cents per sq ft, the gallon of goop will net about 775 dollars per gallon. again, those are royalties. we are talking about 200 million sq ft (at one percent penetration) each year. the folks at msc say that 1% is way too low. you do the rest of the math if you want. throw in automotive products, and the fpd's, and you can see why we like the stock so well.

Zeev,

Time to head for the REFR web site refr-spd.com and get an education on the competition before you challenge Mr. Smith. After you've done some reading you may want to send further questions to Joe Harary at REFR who will be happy to give you the most recent information. Also you may want to locate some of the articles written on the SPD eyewear in trade and ski magazines. Those are listed under "media" on the REFR web site.

When you've got the facts you may not have the same questions or concerns that you are currently expressing.
