<<I am uncertain how to respond, but I think this is what is known as good news. It is foreign to me lately, but I think it is good.>>

Valueman: It has been a tough call lately. May I suggest we proceed with, "If it looks like good news, sounds like good news, feels like good news, and smells like good news; it is likely good news." ; )

Thanks for the info.

yes - thanks for the info. I'd think the globalstar venture will be very good for Loral in the long run. I am seeing this completely from a personal point of view. The prospects of finally having one phone no, no more confusing roaming on cell phones, being able to use the same phone number anywhere in the world, especially for data, can't wait for it to come true..or am i seeing this too naive, to rosy? Will there be technical problems that I have no idea about? Yet, ask any young person, what they'd prefer, and it will be satellite. Just makes plain sense.
Iridium..got their brochures, visited their site, called them. Very confusing to say the least, nowhere information about a price plan, I thought they had started the service.
