Our basic unit which is what the salesman try and sell is 2200.00 and includes,3Capscans probes, there delux hand held remote. The remote will do the following, measure by inches or gallons fuel or water, read temp, scan the pumps, read fuel delivery bills of lading, and is insertible into a modeum to download data the the main office in Fl! 6000 units will be available by Nov 30th, and a conservative est of sales before year end Jim said was 12000 units!

am I figuring this correctly????.....12,000 units divided by 3 which equals 4,000 sets (to be sold in sets of 3 with hand held computer)...at a cost of $2,200/set which is $8,800,000.....$8.8M by year's end????? .....this is gross...what would the profit margin be to the company...I recall a production price of $40/each...which would be $480,000...and throw in a little extra overhead.. and this conservatively leaves...$8.0M in the next 2.5 months???...surely I've missed something, haven't I???? ...I don't recall seeing and estimated production costs for the hand held monitor ....and this would need to be multiplied by 4,000 and subtracted from the $8.0M

Howdy
Did you see a Capscan unit? If so, did it appear to have $2200 worth of value, guessing (unless you're a tank owner) from a tank owners point of view ? Do you think the home unit will appear to home heating oil tank owners as having $79 worth of value?
Thanks
DEZERT

there seems to be some confusion here.....should this be for 3 or 4 capscans???
