sonki, go over to the Mike Burke thread and see his assessment of INTC's report.

As for DELL, he has it on his put list so check it out. Mike's does not believe in TA, just FA. I have seldom seen him be wrong in the long-term. Of course, being a bear in a bearish market is helping him out these days.

Sonki, Entry/Exits of trades... A good deal of trades that I've made in the last 7 trading sessions I've exited prematurely. They were excellent trades like ITWO,ELNK,AMCC,AMMB,NXLK,CCE, CLX,PVN, COF etc..They were all multi-point gains in some cases up to 11 (PVN) when I exited, but I left points on the table.

But the other side of coin is that I never hold too long, I escape quickly and seldom get caught in sinking trades. I got puts on the internet yesterday evening when traders was still in throes of rally excitment...I plucked 5 points from the AMZN puts but today I could have held on to the S&P puts longer taking 1 point when I could have gotten 3-4 if I waited a few hours. So there are always tradeoffs.. Traders that tell you otherwise are not being forthright.

You should however take profits if they are as substantial as the ones on PVN.. In this case you were probably right to hold but in the future it might not work out that way. I was 'recommended' the drug sector today but I was unconvinced. Lately I'm trading stocks with low price/earnings multiples and in most cases 'severely beaten down'..

I'm unimpressed with issues like LU and AOL. and I'm really waiting to buy some more puts in other high multiple stocks. And when these stocks are finally knocked down to where they belong, I'll begin a new portfolio.
