Laura-- I know some of us, maybe all of us, take the P/E into account when looking for puts to buy. In the current market conditions, stocks that have P/E's that are way high, are among the most vulnerable. I'm holding puts on AMZN and KO at the moment, and have a small short position remaining in a stock: ZONA.

Watching the earnings reports this evening there were a lot of missed opportunities for short positions, weren't there?

laura--

not really sure about tlab. i seem to remember someone talking about tech that no one wants going forward....which was on of the reasons they were after ciena.

108 was it? the one i looked at on EK was 126<G>. but of course thats an appropriate P/E for a company in a commodity business that is not growing revenues<G>.

will check into TLAB manana...

good luck to all,
trey
