You know- Other thread heads start a topic- And pretty soon there's an intellectual debate going on, filled with URLs and ad hominem arguments (a phrase everyone loves) and then people start yelling and demanding that Jill remove posts and suspend people and... So I think-boy are we dull or what here at DAR? We never call each other names, (exept for Freddy) we never fight (except for Freddy), we are disgustingly pleasant and polite (except for Freddy), even when alcohol is involved, which it seems to be on a rather consistent level (ahhh-except for Freddy--I may have discovered the problem-Freddy needs to get involved with alcohol). My idea of a deep topic of course being somewhere between what did you write for your high school essays and what's for dinner, perhaps I'm at fault. Jeff Nolder used to be responsible for PR here at DAR. We need a new Topic Coordinator. But we will NOT discuss Monica. Except I have to tell you that I was in line at the grocery store with Ammo and there was the National Inquirer with Monica on the front-well-she's on the front of everything---the 90's version of Shirley Temple--- and she's saying- I am NOT a cheesy tart" Which I thought was deeply moving.
