Mr. Eugene Larabie reports
The Labrador Nickel Syndicate will drill the Adlatok River 2 property
shortly. Work to date, including detailed geological mapping, gravity
survey and exploratory drilling, has revealed the presence of a second
gabbro sill underlying a significant gravity high. At present, a targeted
PEM survey is being conducted to finalize drill targets.
The Adlatok River 2 property has the potential to host a Voisey's Bay style
deposit due to the following attributes: a favourable geological setting,
nickel-copper-cobalt mineralization on surface, leopard textured troctolite
in 1996 drill core, and narrow massive sulphide intersections in previous
drilling. Interpretation of the 1996 drill program suggests a major fault
system through the property extending to the adjacent suture zone.
The Labrador Nickel Syndicate is comprised of Labrador International Mining
(50 per cent), Pallaum Minerals (25 per cent), and GlobeNet Minerals (25
per cent).
