Ken, <<Do these operate on the aircraft itself, or at a command center ? An operating limit of 10,000 ft... Are the AWACS switches rated higher ? Are they used on the aircraft itself? >> I don't know anything about AWACS, though I think there was an informative posting on this subject within the past few months. Perhaps something else remembers when. Here's one bit from the September press release: "Ancor's GigWorks switches will be installed as part of an overall upgrade of the AWACS aircraft. The switches will be a component of an on-board network that will deliver important radar and command control data for decision support." Greg
