by the way, never owned this stock until recently at 5 1/16 because i never trusted management after the dsc lawsuit. they were never to be trusted so i did not own the stock until it got overly hammered. also, i agree that it may take a while to get some momentum back, but this is not a momentum play, its a value play. don't you think lucent and nortel and alcatel recognize this value and potential? that's the only reason i invested in this company - value. when i see that someone has passed them up in the technology and noone has purchased this company, i will sell at a loss, thank you very much.

by the way, very few analysts are very deserved of "respect". they are idiots for the most part. example, the idiots that were saying the selling in ciena was overdone from 90 down to 9. they are worthless most of the time. i do like reading their research reports because they do have the time to get good information about the companies they cover, but as far as their guesses about future success, they are weak.

one last thing, give me some examples of the wireless companies you are talking about (surely not qcom) and i might invest in them too.
