Singapore Airlines Launches Second Gaming Aircraft

MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 14, 1998--Interactive Entertainment Limited (IEL) (Nasdaq: IELSF - news) announced today that Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA) had launched the second B747-400 aircraft with IEL's Sky Games gaming software installed. SIA and IEL loaded the software on the second aircraft last week and performed testing to validate the aircraft environment. SIA placed the aircraft into service yesterday with the Sky Games software operational on the airline's KrisWorld inflight entertainment system.

Gordon Stevenson, President and CEO of IEL, stated, ''Technical issues that resulted in a degree of instability on the first aircraft have been resolved. System stability, and the resulting availability of inflight gaming to passengers improved significantly during September.
