Gordon, I can't tell you how many of my shorts have nosedived, then popped back up for seemingly no rational reason. ENML, AVNT, WDRY, ZONA (I was watching that one), CCSI, ABTE, EGGS (my only loser this year, covered in the 9's). It ain't over 'til it's over. Oh, BTW, I never shorted any of these financials (much to my dismay). I don't really understand them and I stay away from stuff I don't understand. Barb

I have to disagree with you. The Mr. Pink comment saying short with impunity was made last Wed. night. The stock opened the next day below $50. It closed at $51 that day after falling to an intraday low of $43. Now obviously someone sitting on enormous profits who had shorted it in the mid 60s and 70s like mr. pink would cover. However, his "lemmings and followers" who were too busy "shorting it with impunity" did not cover. Now, obviously mr. pink is not meant to hold his followers hands but trying to time Thursday was ridiculous for anyone to try. Only the best and luckiest traders made money on Thursday and Friday. I think to say that it should have been covered in the 40s and 50s is little hard to swallow for this pinky to handle. However, I have made tons of money from his pinkness and understand he is not infallible.
