Anthony, I suspect your last statement may be closer to fact than we think at the moment. Just speculation but Pfizer has been selling off its dead weight and streamlining the company for some time now. One benefit of this would be that it would make it easier to acquire and blend in an acquisition. There would be fewer overlapping divisions and would create a better fit. Just a thought. When all is said and done does anyone honestly believe Pfizer will not be higher than $100 a share next year ? There will be a fire sale going on if the drug sector takes a major hit and guess who has the cash and credit rating to capitalize on it. Pfizer management is brilliant. Do you think it was an accident that they announced a 5 billion $$$$$ repurchase before they failed to meet expectations.
