I don't know when he got back in after the crash of 1987.

I do know that he didn't lose any money at all in the "year or so" after. Go look at the Financial Trader link I keep posting. Or here; I'll save you some trouble.

1988: S&P500 16%; DJIA 16%; Cramer Berkowitz 32%
1989: S&P500 31%; DJIA 32%; Cramer Berkowitz 45%
