Steve, Could you explain your long-scalp trade idea again please? One thing to keep in mind with these LPs is that rather than a yield the dividend is actually a return of capital and so the share value drops by about as much as the pay out. Some are designed to go to zero by a certain date, e.g. timber LPs.

Took a flier on your COF trade. Hope it holds up after the bad Intel news rattles the Mr Market today. 8% on a COF CC isn't bad for 4 days ;-) If I don't get called I'll write an overpriced Novi on Monday.

I've been trying to trade straddles last couple of weeks and its a pain as the volatility is so volatile. I'll probably bail out of 'em today and look for good put ideas.

MG, RE: Partnerships

Avoid them. It just simply provides to much hassle in preparing your tax return. JMHO, of course, I do think, however, (from deep brain cells) that a change requires them to pay taxes up front instead of shifting the burden to the partners. If so, the yields are coming down.

That was a serious run for Thurs-Mon. I don't feel like its teasing. We'll see in the next few weeks if I was right.
