i think i need to start at the beginning of all of this. when you see the numbers you will understand why some of us are so bullish on the stock.
rfi will not have to sell the goop. the manufacturers of the film will soon be able to buy this goop directly from the suppliers that rfi has established (by verifying the amount of supplies sold to these film makers, rfi has one method of verifying the amount of film sales, and eventually the amount of royalties owed rfi. there is another method, but mr. saxe has told me that it is proprietary and would not discuss the details.)
now the film makers sell this film to the end users, who make the final products. the most extreme example is sunglasses. in this case, the one gallon of goop will make enough film to make the blanks for 40,000 pairs of sunglasses. rfi gets a royalty on each pair, based on a percentage of the selling price. i estimate the royalty at about 2-2.50 dollars a pair. so in this case, and i repeat this is the extreme example, the royalties paid to rfi will be in the order of 100k for what was only 1 gallon of goop. for the new particles that they have developed the cost of the basic materials will be negligible.
for the window applications, each 55 gallon barrel of goop will coat 85k sq ft of glass. a conservative estimate of the royalties in this case is 50 cents per sq. ft. based on a selling price of 15 dollars per sq. ft. we are talking easily of 100 million sq ft per year. the sources i have at msc say that this is a conservative estimate. so you figure how much rfi will make a year. most of this will flow down to the bottom line, and they expect to pay out a lot of this( after taxes) in the form of dividends, stock buybacks, etc. it is a very simple model. rfi will eventually verify the amount of sales, and collect the royalty payment.

i have not even included royalties from the sale of sports goggles, or the automotive products sun as sunroofs, visors, rear view mirrors, etc. and further down the road will be fpd's.
some of us who have posted on this board for well over a year have been in this stock for years. we have met the employees, visited the offices, seen the displays(and the electrochromatic window is side by side the rfi windows so everyone can make their own comparison). the people at rfi have been very upfront and truthful, and every thing they have told me has been right on. i have verified a great deal of what they told me thru sources at msc. there has not been any hype on their part. i would suggest that you call them sometime and check it out.
so now you can see why some of us get into the high pitch mode when we see a bunch of newbies like mr mason, or miss knownothing mama bear come on here and all of a sudden act like they know more in one day about rfi than a lot of us who have followed this company closely for 3-4 years.
