Dessaur also waxed eloquently about SEW, (Singer) when it was in the high teens, and when Asia was the rising star of the coming capitalistic utopia. It seems that D thought that SEW had a lock on all the millions of newly well-off Asians looking to buy appliances, sewing machines, refrigerators, stoves, and all the other trappings of the western world. When Asia went into the tank, so did SEW and D doesn't mention it any more. Wonder why?
