Thanks for that reality check.

It is no wonder that the Left always places rewriting history (re-education) as a key part of their agenda. They cannot face the truth so they rewrite it.

It is shocking though how obtuse Clinton's defenders are.

Or is it just their mendacity? Both?

More shocking is that anyone believes anything they say.

David,

Don't you worry. Rumor has it that there are
10 Democratic Senators that are completely fed
up with Clinton. Privately, they want the guy
gone, and are disgusted with what Bubba has
done to their party. That gives 65 votes for
impeachment this Spring. The Republicans just
need to pick up a couple of seats in the Senate
and Bubba is on the dust-bin of history.

Frankly, I miss old Jimmy Carter. I just saw
this short clip of him the other day during the
Presidential debates. He said: "I will never
lie to you (the American people). I will never
deceive you". I miss that guys honesty and
integrity. He really was a victim of history.
He had to work with a lazy, corrupt Congress.
The economy was tanked. The Soviet Union was
on the march and we had reduced our military
capability to the point where we could not even
respond effectively when these Iranians overran
our embassy in Tehran. Yet all the evidence does
indicate, that Jimmy Carter understood that we
needed to rebuild the military. His defense
spending proposals were actually greater than
what Reagan was proposing. He authorized the
funding for the "stealth fighter"...which played
such a big role in the Gulf War. He suffered the
image of being weak though, and it cost him the
presidency. I'd still take him over Clinton any
day...
