Good morning to you all. We wish to extend a belated Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian investors. The post made by Geoff Krone at Stockhouse is dead on point. That is, due to the high expectations of some posters, many of you were expecting "the" announcement to come out of the show. We don't blame you because most of you have been here for over 1 year now and have had to endure the restructuring of Sideware Systems. As such, it is natural to be hoping for that one announcement which would make it all worth your while. The fact of the matter is the show (in our opinion) was a huge success. We had never seen Dr. Bean before and were truly impressed with what we saw. Having said that, to hell with our potentially biased opinion on the product, most of you want to know what potential customers were saying. Folks, we were assisting in the individual Dr. Bean demos (not the large demos put on by SYD personnel but the demos put on for small groups of 1-4 prospects) and the reaction was consistently one of excitement and satisfaction. We watched as Customer Service dept. heads stated "this is exactly what we need" time and time again. We watched as one large CSR dept. head stated "I have four thousand CSR seats and this would be a big help to our situation". We could give you several more such examples but you get the picture. After all this, we have not even mentioned IBM and SAIC. Time and time again, we tried to post activities going on in the booth so that investors could have a "feel" for the activity. We told you when the IBM and SAIC personnel were present and we even managed to get 2 SAIC personnel speak to investors, though for a short period of time, through Hot Notions. We even told you the comment made by the lead SAIC person on this project which was "this product is by far the best of it's kind on the market". We could not have told you more without sitting in on the meetings and dictating the minutes over Hot Notions. Was a deal signed on the spot? No. Why? Geoff Krone said it best - mega deals are not signed for advanced Beta products. IBM and SAIC entered their agreements with SYD based on the strength of their products to date. I-world was the official unveiling of Dr. Bean to the rest of the world. Does it not make sense that IBM and SAIC would want to see the reaction of the general business world to this new product before taking their relationship to the next level? There is a reason why SAIC had personnel in the booth all day for the duration of the show and IBM showed up on three separate occasions. We can't speak for either of them but we know they saw what we saw. The show was completed on Friday. SYD personnel went back to Vancouver on Sunday. Monday was Thanksgiving Day. We returned on Sunday and were a little tired from the show, so you can imagine the break needed by Owen and the remainder of the SYD personnel. It is now Wednesday. We know that Owen wants to get an update out ASAP. However, he and all SYD personnel have the much higher priority of following up with the leads generated at the show. Perhaps one of you could go into the archives and retrieve Jim Speros comments in which he mentions some of those big names. We will get you a report as soon as possible but it will have to wait until SYD gives us the time. In the meantime, think about where this company was in February and where it is today. Back then, posters were trying to tell you the "IBM deal is dead" and we came on to defend SYD and its shareholders. Today, IBM sits in the SYD booth at Internet World in New York, as did SAIC and other large and small companies. We're here to tell you today that we agree with Geoff Krone when he says that SYD is stronger than ever. We all want to see "the" announcement. It didn't come last week but then again, that was not the purpose of I-World. The purpose of I-World was to unveil Dr. Bean to the world, watch their reaction to the product and watch the reaction of IBM and SAIC as they watched others reacting to the product. To say the least, this was a big show and everyone was extremely nervous, especially Owen Jones. Any major technical problems or failed demos and SYD becomes just another company that has to return to the drawing board. Owen Jones sure looked relaxed on Friday afternoon. All of you know we do not hype or overplay anything related to our clients. In fact, that has been the major complaint by many of you. We know this but we can not change our style. Having said that, we hope this post brings across the right message. Have a great day. Regards, Agora Internet Relations Corp.
