All: We know that FNTN is a speculative BB stock. What we do here on these threads is speculate about our speculation. In that spirit, here's my own worthless 2 cents. As you know, my recent visit to Financial Intranet left me feeling very positive about the people and the vision. I was also able to determine that the company consists of real hardware along with the real people - it's not a front for a flower shop. I was very impressed with the technical machine that the Siemens' tekkies were installing. At the time of my visit, Siemens was working on FNTN's back-up systems. What occurred to me later was that these systems had to be in place before any serious business could be conducted. So while they may have had a technically functional Intranet, they did not yet have a practical Intranet since the all-important safety features were still being developed. My gut feeling is that we are watching a company open its doors at a very deliberate speed - in slow motion. If FNTN was not a public company but still possessed the same support, I would think, "boy, this company is really going to fly some day." But I'm a stockholder, and not a very patient one at that. In Ardsley I witnessed a handful of very bright people working very hard (until I got there) to give birth to a great idea. However, I don't think they are mentally or physically equipped to deal with the fact that they are a public company and their public will rightfully hold them to their every utterance. I believe that the hiring of a few key people will help them immeasurably. For now, FNTN is still an idea, and neither basher nor praiser really knows a damned thing about the future of this company. As for the reality of their current status, we know that the company had no measurable revenues in the 1st quarter of this year and that the 2nd and third quarters were very modest. We also know that FNTN expects to see measurable revenue from their core businesses by the 4th quarter- and that it stands to be the pivotal quarter for the company. Hopefully, the time frame on the remainder of the technical delivery is more measurable then the revenue. If MS can even begin to deliver THIS quarter I will continue to hold long, and probably buy more. The down side is that actual revenues for the 4th quarter would probably not be announced until next year. Hopefully, in the next few weeks FNTN will throw us the long-promised bone containing announcements of completed systems and signed contracts. I would expect to hear something no later than November if they are to meet any part of their 4th quarter expectations. Wally
