>>28 3/4 bid x 13/16 ask. looking ok. I am still looking to sell above 30 this week. Still dont believe coms can break out of range with market so bearich pricing in a recession next year.<<

I may do the same, but I'm not so sure to what extent the market
has priced a recession. It was much more negative immediately
after G-Span ease a 1/4 pt. But, it's as negative now that
he said he'll probably ease more, at least if he has too. Also,
market is waiting to see future earnings forecast. So the
pricing in of a recession is sort of a moving target, IMO.

Personally, I think tech will have a good Q3, and I'm waiting
to see if the market prices this in. I'm also keeping a close
eye on Japan moving their laws through congress and whether
the Long Term Capital effect on bonds clears up in a few weeks.

"I am still looking to sell above 30 this week" sold at 29. Four points gain is enough for me. Use the money buy compaq at 25 today.
cpq at 25 is less risk like coms at 25.
Will buy back coms if it ever falls back to or below 25. Anything
is possible in this bear market.
