What is going to change at ALYD on the 15th nothing except poor innoccent investors will buy up the stock taking it to 7 or 8, maybe even 9 dollars and when all the hype fades 2 -3 days later the stock is back to 3 or 4 and a few people sold out...

Not sure what you've been reading, but I really doubt anyone here expects a miracle tomorrow. All we are waiting for is a look at ALYD's post Y2K strategy. At that point some people will be excited and buy, some will yawn and do nothing right away, and still others might decide to short it.

What faith people have in ALYD has little to do with hype, IMO. This company started out on the BBs with no track record, hawking a service few would even acknowledge they needed, and had to compete against IBM, Cap Gemini, and all those huge Indian body shops. ALYD was even an anomaly against their peers: they were among the first to switch from expansion to windowing, they were among the first to choose a factory approach, and they were among the first to do Y2K audits. All the while they added clients like 3M, McDonnell Douglas, Nabisco, Dupont, etc. while growing eps from negative to 0 to .10 to .16.

So, for many here, ALYD has earned their trust. It's not the fault of ALYD that investors assigned huge multiples to Y2K companies early on. It's not the fault of ALYD that investors have left the Y2K sector in droves (granted, for good reason in many cases). All ALYD can do is continue to be innovative... to enhance their flagship technology, SmartCode, for other uses, such as e-commerce.

Feel free to short this or any stock at whatever price you choose. Feel free to post whatever (damaging) information you might have on this or any other stock. But, please, don't start throwing around phrases like "pump and dump" without any evidence whatsoever, please don't say "watch the 8Ks" without even saying what you believe one might say, and please don't tell us you have "never been wrong" after saying that 96% of Y2K projects have already been granted.

Now, how about some real facts for a change?
