Charles, <<Maxam dividend show up in our accounts?>> I heard that Maxam changed the x-dividend date to yesterday. Only kidding, it's still 10/01. <VBG> I gave Runyon an earful about preannouncing the dividend. That was a piss poor way to reward long term shareholders when newbees can buy in the day before and then sell their common the next day. I would have also liked the company to have spread out the dividends so that there would be more reward for long term holding. It's got to be clear to all that Maxam isn't a company to BS hype the company like some of the other dirts do. If I have any gripe with Maxam, it's a pattern that reoccurs where the problems that face the company are never their fault. That gets tiring after awhile. Good management and planning should always be in control, there should always be a contingency plan for every planning step. I better be careful here, someone may think Larry or Rand found my SI password. <VBG> I understand that Runyon will put out a PR discussing the dividends and other issues soon.
