GZ: My guess is that we will have a mid-day move towards the negative. If we recover from that, we should have a nice close. The internal market is quite powerful. The volume is going with this move in a big way. Earlier this morning, the advancing and declining volume on the NYSE were both at 41.6 million. Since then the advancing volume is 195.5 million and declining volume is 106.7 million. That is about 155 to 60 in favor of advancing volume since the 41.6 million tie. Surprisingly, this keeps gaining strength even when the advances and declines are narrowing.

If this keeps up, I suppose the smaller stocks will start moving with the money. When that happens the move will take off. I would think that this should take two to three days to play out--if this is the bottom.

This definitely may be the bottoming process.
