Art (& Ken & James & Joe),

You write: "I believe Fortune 500 companies do this all the time with analysts and large shareholders (not just during the quarterly earnings releases)".

I can accept all the reasons given and I know the above is commonplace. I had just heard (probably 3rd or 4th hand) this had been a call open to the "stockholding public". I also "assumed" this was the case from a post of Joe Medsker's last week when he mentioned a the possibility of a conference call with Joe Murphy. If this were the case, I would have expected to be included or to be able to listen to it via replay.

I do, however, feel care has to be exercised when only making certain groups of people privy to certain types of information. I can point you to cases resulting in some pretty ugly class action lawsuits due to one group learning certain types of information before others.

Art, James, and all, I think we are not talking about large shareholders or potential shareholders here. We are talking about everyone who is on the several e-mail lists. To be deleted from the e-mail list, you simply have to question anything that DCI does. I do not think the SEC would take kindly to this sort of thing. By the way, what constitutes a large investor. After I e-mailed my holdings at Fidelity to Joe, he posted the total for seven people and my total was just short of half the total.
