I attribute the jump to brokers reading my SI prediction of .30 over lunch and rushing back to buy, buy, buy... ~(-; See no news. Maybe positioning to shake the shorts before earnings to get a bigger pop (plenty of headroom between 30 and 50!). Or maybe things are really better than we can dream ... Who knows... For those that can't draw causal relationships, Intel did do well (ignore 4th qtr handwringing) and gave mgrs a reason to believe that tech stocks can still deliver this qtr. Aside: Throw some numbers and currency plays behind the stuff above and I can start my own hedge fund. I too can lose billions of dollars(-;
