<<How's that any different from a corrupt police precinct captain in 1920s Chicago, keeping the bribes and kickbacks from the bootleggers up while keeping the number of gangland shootings down.>>

We fought against that becoming an officially, accepted standard for that represents us. Some of us are still doing it.

<<I knew he was a liar from day one. I didn't and don't care.>>

There is a difference between not caring and condoning. You appear to be condoning it by supporting the continued existence of this drum beat, and the beat goes on. So what, you don't have to march to it.

<<Do I really care about the sexual behavior of our morally bankrupt leaders as long as my paycheck continues to arrive on time? Not a fig.>>

OK, Capitalism, materialism, whatever. You are claiming that's your only issue. Some how I missed that on clintons platform. I can see why you initially didn't want him, with all the social programs he promotes. There are some other politicians who are much more dynamically pro-your issue. I wouldn't vote for any of them.

Still confused.
