Brian, it depends on a number of things. The general market (obviously), and whether this is a trading rally or not. It may well be that the shorts got in too early and are scrambling to cover, but when it all settles down, I would personally expect the price to fall. Its all in the eye of the beholder, but imho the stock is over-valued at this price

I guess the argument is that the pharms won't be affected by the economic slowdown and stock market decline. But if the market goes down, I doubt any class of stocks will be uneffected. On the other hand, if things pick up, then there may well be a shift to cheaper stocks. Who knows .... based upon todays action, certainly not me !!
