Chris: re your comment:

"I would add that the management doesn't know much about their future, either, at least the timing of it, at this point!"

Maybe so.
That's my point.

It's tough to bash convincingly or praise convincingly when there is no ongoing business to judge.. and perhaps no known deadline.
All we can see is management apparently missing deadlines.
Frankly, I don't know what that means.
It could mean disaster.
It could mean their missing deadlines.
It could mean something else.
For instance (and to play Devil's advocate once again), it could mean FNTN is missing timelines rather than deadlines. The timeline being the ideal schedule of events - the deadline being the realistic point in which events must occur before the project is in jeopardy.
While guessing the start date of my own business, I was off by 6 months. I wasn't public and I paid the landlord and the equipment leases, so nobody bitched. Still, there was a point where I was going to have to see results or face disaster.
I'm sure FNTN has real internal deadlines before the money or the idea or both go South. I'm not sure that we know what those dates are.
It may be nice to find out.
Published financials would be nice, but they will only tell us how much they lost, not how much they have to lose, how much they thought they would lose or how much they're currently making.
As much as I would like financial returns on this investment sooner than later, even if all is well, it may not happen for a few more months than anticipated. Whether they're suffering from missed timelines, missed deadlines or just piss-poor communication with investors, I'm not terribly shook up by the delays.
Not now, anyway.
But check with me in another month.
Regards,
Wally
