Verbatim is rebranding the Zip disks, just like Maxell and the others do. This is clear from the press release, which I have now read.

You have to figure that if Verbatim has decided to start selling Zip disks, and NEC has decided to spend a bunch of money to increase production of Zip drives, it just isn't likely that demand is down. It seems fairly clear that the opposite is true.

Sure will be interesting to see the numbers tomorrow.

I notice that there have been very few predictions coming from the participants here, other than the one from someone whose name escapes me, of (.12) operating, (.25) after Nomai charges. That seems to be a bit off the deep end.
