>How the hell did we get to talking about selling these items from >books to music?

Apparently the Amazon bulls over on The Motley Fool were trying to justify the valuation of AMZN, so they started asking questions like "what is the total worldwide sales amount of music/books/etc" to use as a basis for Amazon's market cap.

When they discovered that even if Amazon made 100% profit on the entire worldwide volume of most commodities, it would STILL be overpriced, they started adding other product sectors because certainly Amazon will be the wal-mart of the web.

Pretty sad, actually.

I think we just witnessed many Oct put holders get the stuffing knocked out of 'em and they closed. Call holders turn tomorrow.

IS, I see! So tomorrow we may see $85! If the elephants /b> stay on the dancing floor a few more months, we will learn their "swings" well and be rich!!

p.s. everyone go for the "swings" lessons; my favor dance.

Very sorry about all the put holders' losses!! It was bad taste for me to mention the $500.
