MMV - Re: "Not to mention loss of marketshare to AMD & others in sub 1000."

This is a loss?

AMD has made a one penny profit in the last 5 quarters - with 4 deep losses.

Meanwhile Intel has strengthened its overall technology and avoided the deep losses, racking up > $1 Billion/quarter in profits.

They gave up market share in the short term and maintained healthy profits, expanding their High End products.

Now, Intel's "low end" Celeron is outselling ALL of AMD's CPU production, so Intel has a good chance to recapture market share while maintaining excellent PROFITS.

Not that you know all these.
