<HP& 2nd Half 99> T.R. I don't what this HP guy is thinking,if anything things should begin to look a lot better by 2nd half of 99 'cos that is when the presently troubled economies,(particularly the S.E.Asians with the possible exception of Indonesia and Malaysia), will begin to stabilize and between Q1-Q2 of 2000 most of them should begin to report marginal to healthy single digit GDP growth. To my line of thinking from here to there is the difficult one for most. PS: Since he was talking about his company he might be quite on the mark with respect to his prediction though and that is quite all right with me for obvious reasons.
