"If I had gone through the painful implementation process required for use of one of the big ERPs, I would probably start my search for SFA software with them". I disagree, if you had been through a 2 year multi-million dollar implementation and you were indeed looking for for an ERM solution would you want to make the same mistake twice. The Siebel implementations that I know of have went relatively smooth. When you purchase a product like this you are looking for competive advantage and would not want to be tied up in implementation rhetoric. The faster you implement your system the faster you start to increase productivity and customer retention and satisfaction. People have to understand that just because the backoffice venders get into the market does not mean that they will have the best solution, especially if the "best of breed" product has a seemless interface. Just my opinion. Regards John
