paul, it is better to not post and be thought naive than to post and remove all doubt. ;-)

the bottom line is that a company that earns the same amount from operations over time is not growing. a company that earned $0.32 in 1930 and every q since then through the present didn't grow and, all else being equal, is not going to get a meaningfully higher valuation.

they will get a small premium due to a large cash horde and the risk of bankruptcy is less likely. they will also be seen as a no growth company.

let me be clear so you can't spin it. INTEL IS NOT GROWING EARNINGS PER SHARE FROM OPERATIONS. in fact, it is shrinking.

i know, i know. i already anticipate your response. you will use an ad hominem and then compare q2 to q3 and "prove" growth - while completely ignoring the seasonality of the industry. you are so easy to predict. you are still wrong. however, it is not easy for you, the deluded to admit the delusion. if you saw it you wouldn't be deluded ;-)
