MD Consult was just written up in either Forbes or Business Week. I'll have to look up the article. Somebody sent me a Xerox copy. They have been reasonably well funded to the tune of $40 million. How can I compare them...?

Nearest I can come up with is MD Consult is going to be somewhat like Geocities (on the Net). Other companies sign up with MD Consult to use their Web based network (which I am not sure is completed yet) to offer products and services to, in this case, doctor clients. Doctors subscribe to MD Consult for something like $30 or $40 a month and gain access to these "content" services. There will also be fees associated with the use of the content services. Fees payable to the content service providers.

Will this work? Reuters failed at it in health care as recently as 1996. Geocities, on the other hand, is very popular.
