Talking about culinary experiences - I recently read a magazine article describing and comparing the culinary properties of "small game". Y'know - marmots, corvids and all "miscellaneous" varmints.
We all know rabbit is right good - and if you stew squirrel and don't try roasting it, it's pretty munchious also.
Crow is really not all that bad - on a par with mallard.
The worst eating in the vertebrate kingdom (not counting vulture I guess - it wasn't mentioned on account of they're a protected species) is porcupine. The flesh has a texture that makes durian seem good by comparison. And the flavor is most pronouncedly turpentiney. Porkies just loooove pine twigs.
Ironic, isn't it, how Nature goes to all that trouble to protect some really poor eatin'. Pass the WormWoodPucks ®!

She's "Not a cheesy slut!" uh? WELL! This is another amazing coincidence. Just a couple weeks ago I was trying to convince those marketing people at Pizza Hut to run a Pizza Slut promo.

oops, Pizza Slut®
