If you read my response it is obvious I missed the boat and jumped on another subject all together (look what happens when you spend 3 striaght days reading MP tech literature ;-) ). I didn't think an ITC in the sense you described was possible under an x86 architecture. Doesn't it require a "compiler hint". If I'm not mistaken PA-RISC does or is starting to use it in that matter.
