David.....Once we know outstanding for '97, won't we then know how many shares were issued in '98 by subtracting 97's number from 72 million which is currently outstanding now.

You know Freddie, you are absolutely correct...i'ts a simple matter of deduction. The 1997 audited and certified financials will show the "no BS" share count, signed off by a legitimate auditing firm with no reason to lie, and whose own reputation is on the line.

However, the current share count is based on a statement by Arif in a conference call (he said 70 million at the time) and a further determination recently by ? that the count is now 72 million. These numbers are only "tribal" knowledge and guesswork right now and are not included in any official statements by the auditors. For now audited numbers are the only ones I will believe.

For all we know there are now 100 million shares outstanding (the total currently authorized). That would be no less shocking, to me, than the 70 million that was announced in the conference call while we all thought there were only 20+ million outstanding.

I don't always believe what FAMH says anymore, but will believe audited/certified statements from a creditable accounting firm.
