Hey guys!!!

Gee, I didn't know that I could be helpful to everyone about Tanner's restaurants...this is so kewl!!! =)

Anyways, here is some more information about the chain as it exists in Atlanta.......

Most of you know that there are currently 9 stores operating on the North side of Atlanta. For those of you that do not know the makeup of the city, approximately 75% of all the growth in the metropolitian Atlanta migrates to the north side of the city, between interstates 75 and 85. In short, Tanners has an established position in the upscale, fast growing sections of Atlanta. I talked to my parents today to get their opinions on the Tanner's chain. They also viewed the food as being excellent (for being a mid level chicken based sit down restaurant) and thought that the prices were great relative to quality.

I must say that if the growth of Tanner's is stymied, it will be because of a slow down in the home meal replacement category and not because of the chain. Their quality is too good and their reputation in Atlanta is too sound for them to disappear. If ROTI does get in with Tanners and they go public, it should be a very positive situation.

Like I said, if I can provide any info...let me know...

Good night!! =)

Brooke

LPasko,
All I did was call my broker,in this case Schwab, and tell them to convert. They had to send the shares away(to the transfer agent?). I waited about 45 days. I presumed it took so long because of merger plans and working out details. Not really sure. This was a new experience for me. Hope this helps.
I haven't checked my positions yet. Just back from knitting group and doing my DD for tomorrow's trading. You might want to ask somebody on this thread who is much more in the know than I am about whether or not conversion would be wise at this point. Good luck.
Becky
