The following is from a BT Alex Brown follow-up report dated Oct. 7.

"Our model tells us WinStar needs to go back to the capital markets in mid to late 1999. It may not be well known that the company is working on a vendor financing deal on the order of $300 million that would take the company at least into 2000, if not to free cash flow in the initial 40-market build."

Hope this is useful.
Regards to all,
Dub

Hi Barbara:

Maybe I did not understand your question, but the 10Q
that Winstar puts out every quarter lists their cash
and cash equivalent position. (around $700M after
last Q). Quarterly changes will tell you how fast the
company is depleting its cash reserves.

Best regards,

Bernard Levy
