LG Semicon (KSE:29090) said today that it has signed a contract
with Taiwan's Compal Co., a notebook computer maker, to export
semiconductor chips and thin-film-transistor liquid crystal display
(TFT-LCD) worth US$250 million.

The chips supplied to Compal include 64-Mega and 128-Mega Synchronous
DRAMs, and 64-Mega and 128-Mega Rambus DRAM chips while the TFT-LCDs
include 13.3, 14.1 and 15.1-inch products.
